The ''Davis Cup" match between Moldova and Egypt was the first test for the Moldavian tennis national team in 2014.
20 -years-old Moldavian talent Maxim Dubarenko handed our national team’s fourth victory in the match, though from the viewpoint of tournament, Dubarenko's last game with Sheriff Sabri was a dead rubber.
However, despite the fact that the match outcome had already been predetermined by a Radu Albot’s victory over Mohammed Saffat, no one wanted to yield in the final match, and there was no less spectacular and interesting game.
Thus, after a victory over Egypt with an overall scoring 4 - 1, Moldova will clash with the Belarus team which in its turn beat Ireland with ease (4-1).
